Affirmations
As you realize how your past thoughts have developed your current state, you know from experience how powerful your thoughts are. An affirmation is a positive statement you make about what you want in life in order to take control of your own thoughts into a beneficial direction. They reconstruct your mind to recognize your strengths, as opposed to all the negative thoughts that hold you back. Thinking positive and saying positive thoughts out loud allows your mind to acknowledge and accept what is possible. What you say becomes what you believe. If you constantly say, “I CAN do that” then after a while, you will begin to believe it.
Repeatedly make encouraging, optimistic, confident statements until it turns into a valuable habit. When you make these affirmative declarations do so in the present tense and you will be training your mind to know this as truth. When you say I want or I will, this signifies a future desire and that is what you would be continuing to hope for, which would keep it out of grasps in the future, yet if you say I have, I am, or I do then you are claiming it, owning it now in the present.
